Water Quality Report: You can request a copy at the Water & Sewer Report at the Water and Sewer Office, 114 N. Phelps Street in Decatur, Michigan. The report will not be mailed directly to consumers unless a copy is requested. The report is available on the website. Village maintenance will pick up LEAF filled PAPER bags for disposal if put at the edge of the road. In leaf raking season, a leaf vacuum is also used for leaf disposal if leaves are raked to the edge of the road and piled for pick up. Twigs and branches must be separated from the leaves. There is an ORDINANCE PROHIBITING BURNING OF ANY KIND (including leaves). Leaves should be raked to the roadside or put in PAPER bags for disposal and put by the roadside for village pick-up. PLEASE DO NO USE PLASTIC BAGS AND DO NOT BURN LEAVES! |
